About
Gabe Eubanks - Level Designer
Since I was young, I have always been a creator. Through game development, films, written works, sound design, and numerous other avenues, I have developed invaluable skills in creativity coupled with the ability to work on a project from start to finish. This wide range of creative outlets allows me to bring fresh ideas to every project, while applying cross-media learned lessons to game and level design.
I am currently a graduate student at Southern Methodist University, pursuing a Masters Degree of Interactive Technology in Digital Game Development. I am enrolled in the level design degree track, where I learn how to craft fun and engaging levels in a multitude of engines, editors, and tools - while learning important strategies for teamwork.
In my undergraduate career at the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, NE (my home town), I received a Film and New Media degree - specializing in scriptwriting and audio design. This was a great stepping stone towards moving to my ultimate goal: a lifelong career in game development. I learned skills in storytelling, teamwork, technology, and reinforced my love for impactful visual mediums.
Outside of work, I have been an electronic musician since the 6th grade. I love to travel around the U.S. with family and friends, but checking out cities abroad is next on my life's bucket list! I'm also an avid sports fan; my favorite teams are the Nebraska Cornhuskers, Dallas Mavericks, and the Kansas City Royals.
